Stringing Services

When choosing a tennis string, you can consider the following factors:

• String Type
  Polyester strings are generally better for control and spin, while mono/multifilament strings are better for power and comfort.Multifilament strings are more elastic than single filament or polyester strings, but they are usually less durable.
• String Gauge
  The thickness of the string, also known as the gauge, affects the string’s durability, control, power, and comfort:
  • Thicker strings: More durable and provide more control
  • Thinner strings:Provide more power and comfort, and allow for more spin
• String Tension
  Higher tension provides more control, while lower tension provides more power.For regular players, the ideal tension is usually between 23 and 27 kg.Every racket has a recommended range for string tension. Check your racket for more information.
• Playing Style
  Consider what benefits you want from the string, such as power, control, or comfort.Place that string in your Mains (Vertical).
• Hybrid Setup
  • A hybrid setup can combine different types of strings, such as stiff polyester in the mains and soft multifilament in the crosses.
  • Natural gut strings are the most expensive, but they are also the softest and most powerful strings available.They hold tension better than other strings.

We offer stringing solutions for all racquets, playing styles and abilities. Prices range from $27 up to $90 depending on string composition. We also allow clients to provide their own string ($25 Labor charge). All pricing is based on a full bed of that string. You can always create your own hybrid stringing combination which will cost half of each string type used.
